Property Moose Secures £850,000 in Equity Funding

Earlier this year, we secured £850,000 in equity funding, bringing the total amount raised to over £2 million.

The funding round, which completed in May, raised £850,000 from a Guernsey-based asset management firm. We believe the investment to be an endorsement of our strategic vision and growth to date. The money will be used to sustain momentum, develop new products, and make key strategic hires.

Previous funding rounds

During our pitch on CrowdCube in February 2014, we raised 280% of our target and were the fastest pitch to fund at the time.

In December 2014, AXM Venture Capital, which manages the North West Fund, injected £290,000 into the business. The investment helped us to strengthen our property sourcing pipeline, grow our team and design our website.

Just a year later, we received a further £440,000 as AXM Venture Capital led a further syndicated funding round.

Darren Schindler, Executive Chairman of Property Moose explained,

“To date, the firm has focused on building an investment environment that can allow members to participate in secured investments, backed by UK property, and target potential returns that exceed those offered by much of the market. A number of investments have already been concluded in 2017, and positive returns have successfully been delivered to members.

“The team plans to build on the success to date and have ambitious plans for the rest of the year, as we aim to be at the forefront of the global crowdfunding industry.”

Founder and CEO, Andrew Gardiner noted,

“The continuing support of our early members and backers has allowed Property Moose to evolve into a much-loved investment portal. I believe our customer-centric vision is shared by our new investors, and we plan to continue to innovate by creating new investment products and market-leading investment technology.”
