Meet the crowd: Jannat Shah, 24, London, Finance Professional

I was looking to invest in one property and amortize the mortgage with the rental repayments. It just felt like a huge hassle to find something that didn’t feel overpriced and part of a bubble in London.

With the impending budget and the penalisation you’d face as a landlord rather than a resident, I didn’t feel like the time was right for me but still wanted to invest in the property space. I found Property Moose by searching ‘Property Investment without Mortgage’. I have used crowdfunding before with Kickstarter, but never with property.

I did my own due diligence and assessed feasibility and how I could diversify and expose myself to different parts of the market. I am confident that the research has already been done and I get access to areas I wouldn’t otherwise have.

I found your user interface more user friendly and also found the level of information given before investing was more comprehensive. The way you accept payment is slicker, others just do bank transfers. It felt that with Property Moose it was very much wallet based, so cash management seemed more practical. The AML process is also much faster.

The personal interaction, calls, personal emails made me feel that you cared about who I am as an investor and you understand my needs more than others do.
